So, I promised to mention the point of my last journal entry "Looking for Idea" is this:
You shouldn't wait for idea or inspiration to come for you. I described there that idea doesn't know my home so it's natural if idea doesn't come to me, even if it did, it could take a very long long time, which by the time I might not be needing it anymore, or simply it's too late because tight deadlines.
Instead of waiting, it would be faster if you start searching in whatever place possible for idea to present. Now, that "place" won't be everywhere. Sure, idea could be anywhere for every different people. For example; general artists, deviantart could be the place to look for idea, but if you're a technical director, I believe you can't find any useful ideas in deviantart (well you might find something but definitely not related to your technical directing profession)
Okay, so what happens when you find the place you're looking for? Two possibilities, you could already have an idea or inspiration, or nothing. If you got an idea already, good for you. If not, another two possibilities; You are looking at the wrong place, or You are looking from the wrong place.
If you are at the wrong place, this is simple. Just find another better place. But if you looking from the wrong place, this is troublesome. You need to change your perspective, 'the way you look things' I could say. For example; If you're looking at the wall, you see wall, an object formed by combination of bricks and cement. That's normal point of view. But, in other point of view, try to see how hard it is to make that wall? how many people needed to built that wall? or why must a wall exist there? for what purpose? Question everything, you might find idea in your question, even if that question is not yet answered, or maybe the idea is in the answer of your question.
I tell you, looking for idea could be painful, like searching a needle in a haystack, but if you succeeded, I'll tell you, it's the most wonderful thing you'll have. But what after you found an idea? Can you execute it? Can you realize it? If I'm putting it to my story, after I dragged..... er, carried.... no, escorted idea back to my home. What am I going to do with her? Okay, she wants to play in my home, but play what? Sure I have PS3, wii and X360, along with PC but she wants to play marbles. Traditional marbles, which I don't have, I could sending idea back to her home if she can't play anything in my home.
I'm talking about techincal issues there. Your idea might be taking too much time to be created, or your skills are simply inadequate to realize it, or you don't have the funds to execute it, and any other factors that might surprise you.
Well that's it for the point in my journal, If I found something interesting next time, I'll be sure to share it with you people

Oh and note that this looking for idea thing is not completely 100% from my mind, I learned this first time from my lecturer back then when I was a university student and refreshed once more when he said the same thing in the class we teach, and the story could be made like that thanks to =

People who uses the fake excuses really is the worst. They don't dare to tell the truth, and covered it with more lies. If the one you lied to learned the truth, it'll be more painful than saying it right to the face from the beginning.
